Hardy Reef
One of the most popular things to do when visiting Shute Harbour is to take a plane ride to Hardy Reef. There, tourists can board the Reef World pontoon or go scuba diving or snorkeling to see the sea life up close.
Paddle Bay Track
One of the more popular nearby islands is South Molle Island, which is easily accessible from Shute Harbour. On this island, bushwalkers enjoy one of the popular well-maintained trails called Paddle Bay Track. Paddle Bay is a great place for a relaxing afternoon walk. It goes through rain forest habitat, eucalypt trees, grassland, and then down to a coral beach equipped with a picnic area. The picnic area, which is inaccessible during high tide, has beautiful views of the Molle Island group. |
